Suitable for cooling power steering, gearbox or diff oil, they are usually positioned in front of the radiator/intercooler, and often used at the rear of a RWD car behind the bumper so air can flow across the hoop to cool the diff. Ideal for diff and power steering, where even the smallest dedicated oil cooler performance is too aggressive
