We are often asked to produce our popular Escort shaped fuel tanks with a black finish. Unfortunately this isn’t possible, as the powder coating process has a detrimental effect on the anti-slosh foam that is used inside. We have developed a solution!
Our AHF041BK Shaped Escort Fuel Tank uses a bespoke inspection panel, that allows us to fabricate and weld the tank, pressure test, and subsequently powder coat the tank satin black. All before adding the foam!

The recessed sight tube keeps scrutineers happy. The tube features large, sturdy 1/4BSP threads. These are readily available anywhere in the world.
The VDO cap can be replaced easily with your 250mm or 270mm VDO level sender, we keep the 250mm unit in stock. The included fuel pump saddles allow you to securely fit lift pumps within the tank, sold separately.
