The battery on BMW F platform cars are retained by two brackets. The first firmly clamps the battery to the body, and the second is a heavy strap that is most useful in an impact. The bracket is a heavy, steel strap that many track/fast road users delete. Our solution is to replace the heavy strap with a light weight aluminium item, that saves 100g. This way, the safety of the original design is retained.
The bracket is made from aluminium, anodised black, with the Saxon logo proudly stamped into it.
